Cheap Essential Oil Diffusers Are Worthless

January 25th, 2008 by admin

My mother-in-law appreciates the healing power of essential oils. So she purchased some Essential Oil Diffuser that use small wooden dowels to diffuse the scent of the essential oil. However, she bought the cheapest diffusers she could find. And cheaper, in this case, is not better. The wooden dowels are so dense that it does not allow the oil to be absorbed very easily do it gives off very little scent. And no scent equates to no aromatherapy effect. A better diffuser uses natural reeds that absorb the oils and slowly diffuse the scent into the air for a gentle and long-lasting aromatherapy effect.

Solar yard lights won’t add to your electric bill

January 25th, 2008 by admin

For me, one of the very best things about my new solar yard lights is that they operate off of solar energy. During the day, when the lights will be off and the sun is shining, these lights will recharge themselves, to provide the necessary power to remain lighted during a nighttime. This means that you get all of the benefits of having yard lights, but none of the extra expense due to electricity consumption. And because these lights operate off of solar energy, each light will function independently — and that means that you will not have to dig up your yard to install electrical cable.

Website owners know that it is very important to generate a steady stream of traffic to their sites. Without this continuous flow of traffic, sales of their products and services will not transpire. Advertising is the best way to generate traffic, but there is a lot of debate as to what advertising methods work the best. I Think Medications Only Mask the Symptoms of a Panic Attack

January 23rd, 2008 by admin

To all those who have a panic disorder. First and foremost, I feel your anguish. I have been in this horrible place for 20+ years. Some days I get so worked up I lose all my willpower to do anything, other days I wake up and I could run a marathon! With all the help that I have received from my family and friends I would say one thing for certain. Until research labs provide specific medication for specific types of panic attack symptoms, be very careful with unnatural substances. I have found that such unnatural substances, whilst great at providing a quick fix, only mask the symptoms of a panic attack for a short while. Either that or you need to spend the rest of your life taking them because you become reliant on a drug that was not designed or tested for your specific ailment.

Anxiety Attack Sysmptoms - Not So Rare Anymore

January 23rd, 2008 by admin

"Our intention is to educate the public about the symptoms of these disorders so that people with serious mental illnesses will seek treatment”, said Dr. David Osprey, a psychiatrist and group director for a clinical psychiatric research company.

But it’s the publicity that has caused many mental-health experts to suspect that many people are getting medication for mental disorders and anxiety attack symptoms that were once believed to be relatively rare.

For example, after Paxil was approved to treat social phobia in 1999. The company nearly tripled its advertising spending, from $31.5 million in 1999 to $91.7 million in 2000. In April 2001, the FDA approved the drug for generalized anxiety disorder as well. In the first six months of 2002, advertising for the drug topped the $60-million mark, according to figures compiled by CMR, a market research company.

Why we purchased a Crane humidifier

January 23rd, 2008 by admin

Recently, our family purchased a new Crane humidifier. One of the reasons why we decided on purchasing this brand was because a neighbor had won installed about three years ago — and they tell us that this humidifier has worked flawlessly ever since. We also liked the manufacturer warranty — it is one of the strongest in the business. We also were very impressed by the professionalism of our dealer as well is the fact that these units are very easy to clean and maintain. Finally, we went with Crane over other brands because, considering all of the features, they are a very good value for the money.

Omega 3 For Skeletal Health

January 23rd, 2008 by admin

Two years ago research scientists at Purdue University found that Omega 3 fatty acids maybe good for bones.

In recent years Omega 3, fish oil, has been found to be essential to good health for all our human systems.

Nutritionist Bruce Watkins, of Purdue University, stated in a Newsweek Magazine report in January 2006, he has discovered Omega 3 arouses cells that build bone in the membrane that covers the long bones. It’s called the periosteum. “It’s the part that hurts when you bang your shin,” says Watkins. “I call it ‘the brain of the bone’ because it contains a lot of nerve tissue and controls a lot of bone metabolism.” Watkins says it should be fed Omega 3, because this fatty oil strengthens bone-building cells as they construct a protein matrix on which calcium and other minerals are amassed.
