I’ve just been looking at pictures of the new design of the Mercedes SL.Stunning!

If you own this vehicle you will be wanting a car mover when you move between cities! It is a precious baby!

The company says the design concept is based on the highly coveted 1954 Gullwing. Well, all I can say is that this vehicle soars! We may well have a style that will continue to look breathtaking for the next 10 years or more.The biggest change is at the front.

The headlamps are no longer quads, but are instead twin CLS-type lamps. And the grill has been made (to look?) wider by incorporating a horizontal bar right across the middle. Moreover, it has been moved out a little and now juts out a small amount from the rest of the body. This is quietly refined and striking when first seen.There is now a taper at the front that leads the eye to a focal point that brings balance and finish to the visual effect.Mercedes has brought their smoked rear tail lights into this SL, now, where before it was reserved only for the AMG models of SL.The bonnet is enhanced with new styling on the powerdome. And there are now new air outlets behind the front wheel, fitted with vertical gills.

All in all, a car to drool over.
