On the wake of the global financial crisis, it was realized that all Americans had to make smarter decisions about financing. To do this new plans and programs must be established for all Americans, regardless of their primary language. This means that Financial Management and Financial Translation need to come together to help families and individuals set and reach financial goals. These new multilingual programs must include topics that concern general financial planning, use of insurance, credit and savings, investments, and retirement and estate planning. Additional topics should center around the development of analytical skills and the use of computers to manage personal finances.
