I love local coupons especially when your coupon is accepted at a competitor’s store.  I realized this a few years ago and I have been using this method ever since.  Retail and grocery stores are in an even more competitive market today with the economy being so poor.  Retailers know that consumers are not spending as much as they were in the past and need to make good choices.  Consumers are using their local coupons to get in on the best deals and get more for their money.  Retailers are using strategies such as offering to double your coupon and accepting competitors’ coupons in order to receive your business.  Retail competition is alive and well and we are all benefiting from it.
