Many people ask me, when talking about different Seattle coffee franchises, if Starbucks is a possible franchise to consider. Unfortunately I have to correct them, because Starbucks really isn’t a franchise, but is mostly privately owned. There are very few exceptions to this rule, and unless you are a very experienced investor it is highly unlikely that you will be able to invest in a Starbucks franchise.

Instead, you should consider other franchises that offer similar advantages like Starbucks, or those that are managed in a similar fashion. It may very well be a much better option and will give you a better shot of success.
