Are There Websites That Sell Muscle Cars?

December 30th, 2008 by admin

I am trying to figure out how I can get the best deal on a muscle car. I have been saving up my money to buy one for a while now, and I think I finally have enough to buy something decent. However, I am not sure what is the best way to do this. Are there websites that sell muscle cars? That way I could compare a lot of cars at once from home and decide which would be the best to go see in person. Also I could check regularly to see if they happen to have a muscle car sale that would allow me to get a car for less.

Good Car Insurance Online

December 29th, 2008 by admin

I work for an insurance company online as one of their customer service reps that chats with current customers about their policies or bills, & I also chat with new prospective customers who need to find free car insurance quotes for their autos.

I answer any of their questions about prices, policy features, discounts & I strive to give them the best customer service that they will find available anywhere on the web.

So far the chat window concept has worked great, because it offers our customers a no pressure opportunity to get any & all of their questions answered & they can close the chat window at any time.

Is Vehicle Height a Problem When Buying Wheelchair Cars?

December 24th, 2008 by admin

You want to purchase a wheelchair car to get yourself or the disabled person in your care out and about, but there are a few factors to bear in mind before purchasing any vehicle. One of them is vehicle height. The internal height measurement of wheelchair cars needs to be sufficient to not only allow in the wheelchair but also provide a reasonable clearance height for the wheelchair user. You may also want extra height to provide a forward view to the wheelchair user, especially if they are taller than average. If this is the case then it reduces the choice of wheelchair cars availableAs far as width is concerned the majority of vehicles permit a 29 inch wide wheelchair.

My husband wants a left hand drive Land Rover.

December 14th, 2008 by admin

My husband and I are moving to Europe. They drive differently than we do here in the United States. Their automobiles have steering wheels, accelerators, and brakes on the opposite side, and they drive on the opposite side of the road as well. We plan to sell our vehicles before we move, and we plan to buy new ones once we arrive in Europe and get settled into our new home. My husband wants a left hand drive Land Rover. I’m not sure what type of car or SUV I want yet.

Do yon need motor insurance?

December 13th, 2008 by admin

There are several reasons not to take out motor insurance. You can have your parents foot the bill if you’re a teenager, and be a named driver on their insurance policy or, if you live on a farm, you can drive around without having to pay the cost of insurance. If you live in certain states, there are also no car insurance requirements. And get this – studies have shown that when the risk of an accident in financial costs is perceived to be low, then the incidence of accidents actually goes down. Or we all insurance and claim mad?

VW Polo

December 11th, 2008 by admin

I recently purchased a VW Polo from Alan Day Volkswagen in London. So what? Well the Polo I purchased was not just any Polo. Oh no, this Polo was special. How so? Well it wasn’t a funny colour like purple and yellow and it wasn’t some sort of tuned up super Polo capable of reached 100 miles an hours in half a second. This Polo was special because it was a BlueMotion VW Polo. This means that it not only looks great as most VWs do but it also costs very little to run as it seriously light on fuel. This also makes the road tax much less. So you see my VW Polo is very special indeed.

Compare Auto Insurance Rates At Kanetix.com.

December 9th, 2008 by admin

There’s little debate on the state of today’s economy; not only here in the United States, but worldwide.

People are coming to the realization their spending must become more conservative in order to survive both the rising costs of everyday life and the possibility of unemployment.

In our family, for example, we’ve cut back on many of the items we used to not worry about such as dining out and other forms of entertainment.

We’ve even began to look into the possibility of insurance consolidation to get both cheap car insurance and home insurance quotes.

With the help of kanetix.com, my wife and I have been able to compare many of the best insurance carriers in one place.

Sway Solution For My RV

November 30th, 2008 by admin

I have finally found a solution for my sway control problem with my RV. There is a company that makes a special hitch that makes it so that there is hardly any sway when you tow things like RVs and trailers. I have ordered one and now I am just waiting for it to come and for us to go on a trip so I can test it out to see if it really works. We really are looking forward to having an easier time driving the next time we go on vacation, which is actually coming up quite soon.

Technically Resetting Air-Bag Module

November 29th, 2008 by admin

Unfortunately, some mechanics still use the old method of determining whehter the module can be reset or not.  Basically, they install new airbags.  After the airbags are  installed if the airbag sensor lights do not go off then the mecahnic assumes that the module can’t be reset and that a new module must be installed.

But there are some mechanics that know to check Module Repair Database usually before the air bags are reaplaced.  This processs usually takes a week for the module to be re-programmed.  That can be a small inconvienance but I think the customer will appreciate his mechanic saving him money. It also help’s the mechanic’s reputation with his customers.

The advantage of buying used auto parts

November 27th, 2008 by admin

With the rising cost of everything today, people are always looking for a way to reduce the cost of car maintenace. One sure fire way to do that is to look for cheap used auto parts when shopping for replacement parts for your vehicle. Many individuals think that because the part is used it cannot possibly be as good as new, well, that is not the case at all. More often than not, when a vehicle is taken to a dealer to be worked on, they look for used parts themselves, only you get charged more than you would if you found the part yourself.

Ford Deals Direct Offer You More

November 18th, 2008 by admin

I was after a new Ford ST-3 recently and visited all the local Ford dealers. I even went to a car supermarket but to be honest I was disappointed with the choice on offer. The cars I saw all looked quite expensive and I didn’t want to compromise by settling for a bog standard ST. I began to wonder if I was ever going to find the car I was looking for. Luckily I went online and found the exact car at Ford Deals Direct. I saved a bundle on the list price which will help towards the cost of my insurance

Dent Repair – How to do it yourself!

November 11th, 2008 by admin

One of the worst things that can happen when you own a brand new car is that someone puts a dent in it – that is everyone’s worst nightmare and it is absolutely one of those things that can ruin someone’s day.  Well, here is a small guide for do-it-yourself dent repair!  First and foremost, dent repair is not an easy task, so you will need many different tools and will need to purchase a dent pulling kit or dent pulling tool, along with a dolly, which is a specially designed tool made for flattening and reshaping metal.

Your first step will be to locate the center of the dent and drill a hole with a 1/8” drill bit, next you want to thread the dent pulling tool into the hole and pull on it to flatten the dent.  Next, you want to hammer the front of the dent while holding the dolly firmly in place against the back of the dent – you may have to go under the car.  The next step is you will want to grind the paint down to the bare metal and allow the body filler to dry out completely before you sand the dent.  Next comes the spray primer, about six coats of that will cover the care and then after that dries you can paint!

If you are looking for a more in depth step-by-step guide it is definitely necessary for you to search online for ‘dent repair’.

November 11th, 2008 by admin

Few people take the time to make sure their vehicles are intop condition. Cleaning a car battery is just one of thosethings you have to do; some people actually find ittherapeutic to clean their car battery because of all theingredients involved, the process itself, and the fact thatthey’re working on their car. Required materials are bakingsoda, a stiff brush, rubber gloves, a wrench to attach tothe cable clamp, a wrench to remove the battery, and greasethat is impervious to water. These cheap ingredients arewhat it takes to clean that special part of the car thatkeeps the whole thing fully charged, ready to go, and on theroad.

Motoring with family and friends

November 9th, 2008 by admin

There are three of us that meet each summer and do a tour together.   My brother and his wife and another couple will drive our motorhomes and recreational vehicles to a centrally located spot where we hook up for a tour.  We can enjoy the privacy of our own wheeled homes and yet spend as much time together as we want as we drive from place to place.  Each year we have toured somewhere different and one of the highlights of the tour is planning where we want to go the next year.  None of us do this full time and all of us enjoy the time that we do do it.
