Research on Curing Diabetes

You know how some people seem to be constantly dieting and exercising but not losing weight? While healthy diet and exercise can usually reverse Type 2 diabetes, the effectiveness of this solution, of course, cannot be absolutely guaranteed. So, researchers continue to seek alternative ways to Cure Diabetes. For example, some scientists are working with a peptide hormone called Gastric Inhibitory Polypeptide, or GIP. It has been found in mice to halt insulin resistance, which Type 2 diabetics suffer from. Still other researchers are working with a molecule called Boc5, which stimulates insulin function. This, as I understand it, would help combat insulin resistance from a different angle.
