Skin Yeast Infection

August 19th, 2008 by admin

A yeast infection can appear on several areas of the body. Skin yeast infection will tend to be most common in areas of the skin that remain moist such as under the armpits, in folds of the skin such as areas under the buttocks.

Careful washing and particularly drying of the skin can help prevent or reduce such occurances. Yeast infections need moisture so by maintaining a dry skin surface can keep yeast growth under control.

Most people are not aware that yeast  is commonly found living on our skin. Too small to be seen with a human eye, they normally live but don’t increase to a level that attracts our attention but when the conditions are right they can rapidly expand.
