Various thinkers have expressed their views on what they think about Existential Therapy. Albert Ellis says that it is a relatively new concept that is just picking up and constantly evolving. The field is both, cognitive and behavioral in nature and it explores individual behaviors and emotions to various cause and effect. According to Emmy Van Deursen Existential therapy helps individuals become truthful to themselves by widening their perspectives. Erwin Yallom feels that there are four existences which include the freedom to make our lives as we want, finding the meaning of life, how aloneness can affect our living and how existential therapys can help us comprehend these thoughts.
