Camp On A Budget, Not In A Tent

If you want to get out into nature and camp but don’t relish the thought of pitching a tent and sleeping on the ground, but also don’t want to spend a lot of money, look into purchasing a popup camper.  They are considered the “entry level” towable camping unit (with travel trailers being the next step, and 5th wheels the high end towables).

The benefits of a popup camper include reasonable costs to purchase and operate, easy to store, and easy to tow.

But, they have their downsides too. They are more time consuming to set up and take down; the amenities such as the seating areas aren’t nearly as nice as those in travel trailers and 5th wheels; they can be a little scary to be in when it’s really windy outside as compared to being in a travel trailer or 5th wheel; very rainy conditions can result in the canvas becoming waterlogged and leaking; lack of privacy; and mattresses that are definitely not like the ones found in 5 star hotels.
