Starfish Food

I need to put on a new roof for my house, and someone suggested that I use EPDM roofing to make the roof waterproof since we have had some leaks. Is this type of roofing easy to use and install? I am hoping that I can redo the roof myself to save some money, so I am looking for something that is easy to install. I think I remember hearing that this is something that you can install yourself, but I would love to find some directions somewhere. Can anyone tell me where I can find out more information on this type of roof and how to install it?
