August 14th, 2009 by admin

The cuboid aquaria or fish tanks serve to ape the natural habitats of the species and these fish tanks usually come with at least one transparent side. An aquarist is the one who maintains a fish tank which is usually constructed of glass or high end plastics or is an acrylic box with an open top. Fish tanks and aquariums are unique in the sense each fish tank host a variety of fishes with different habitats and equipment specifications. Bowl shaped fish bowls are now serving as an attractive replacement to fish tanks, which are generally cubical.

The tropical fresh water fishes are prone to a range of water parameters and hence can be the ideal species for beginners. An ideal fish tank is the one which has enough room for all species to be introduced and whose floor can support the weight of all the fishes. My next post will be about, corner fish tank.
