Retirement gifts are usually given in recognition for the hard work the retiring individual has done throughout his working career.  These gifts vary in value and substance.  If the retiree has prepared well for his retirement, this time in their lives will be an enjoyable phase of their lives.  Sometimes retirement gifts in the form of travel packages can incite a retiree’s desire to travel.  No doubt, many times throughout their lifetime, the retiree has mentioned exotic places they would like to visit when they retire.  Funds can be collected for him to realize his dream and can be used as one of the retirement gifts.  Perhaps hobbies can be expanded on by purchasing gifts that will further the retiree’s desire to continue to pursue his hobby after he leaves the hectic nine to five working world.
