My sons have given me a lot of really nice gifts over the years, but the ones I’ve enjoyed the most have been my cameras.

Years ago they gave me a Kodak for my birthday.  With it I memorialized hundreds of family and personal events.  No one was safe from my flash in their eyes.

Then one year they gave me a basic digital camera and I discovered the wonderful world of digital photography.  Many a night was spent hunched over my computer, tweaking a family photo.

Two years ago they presented me with my all-time favorite camera, a nikon-d700.  I now feel like a professional photographer when I’m out taking photos.  

My digital photos and online albums contain thousands of memories now and I’m still going strong.
