Modern libraries such as Cal Poly’s contain not only books, but computers to do internet research, media rooms, CD’s and audio tapes, study rooms, and many historical items and artifacts says r4i sdhc. One feature in particular which is unique to Cal Poly Pomona is the libraries Special Collections and Archives room. This room features many historical books, documents and artifacts on not only Cal Pomona’s history but on the state of California and regional near by areas as well. Cal Poly Pomona’s library in general is so important to student life and the education of Cal Poly’s students that is often referred to as the “Intellectual heart of the campus”.
